Once your assignments for today are in, I will post the answer key.
Each one will focus on a sentence in order of appearance from SECTION ONE (the first student will take sentence one, the second sentence two and so on). You will analyze in detail the ERRORS and explain in what they consist.
EX: IO MANGIA LOS SPAGETTIS:
MANGIA is 3rd person of MANGIARE. FIRST PERSON IS "MANGIO"
SPAGETTIS: wrong spelling. =GE= hard G in front of E requires the letter H => GHE.
there is no plural -S in Italian.
LOS: the definite article in front of a masculine nouns, plural, that begins with S+consonant is GLI. LOS is not an Italian article.
You notice that I gave the explanation for 'spaghetti' before that for the article. This is the correct procedure when you have to write. You focus FIRST AND FOREMOST on VERB FORM and THE NOUNS. ALL the rest DEPENDS ON THEM.
